The mission of the Upper South Carolina Chapter of the ISM is to promote excellence in the field of Purchasing and Materials Management by providing an environment conducive to the promotion of the profession. This will include a firm base providing an ethical environment, educational opportunities, fellowship, and employment guidance.

This will be provided through the actions of the National and Regional offices, the local Board of Directors, and the individual members.

Antitrust Statement

It is the policy of the ISM-CV to comply strictly in all respects with all of the anti-trust laws of the United States.

There shall be no discussion of the following matters at any ISM-CV meeting or any discussion between members and the staff of the ISM-CV:

1. Pricing, discounts, and credit terms and procedures offered by particular vendors.
2. Standardizing or stabilizing of prices.
3. Standard terms and conditions of purchase or sale.
4. Boycotts of particular vendors.
5. Any matter which could create the appearance of any of the above.
