Code of Conduct The Upper S.C. Chapter of the Institute for Supply Management, Carolinas-Virginia, Inc. with cooperation of the Golden Corner Chapter is proud to sponsor our annual Supplier Night Event. Only a select group of organizations are invited to participate in this event. It is the intent of these Chapters to provide an atmosphere of professionalism and fairness to all participants during this event. With this goal in mind, the following Code of Conduct is prescribed for all non-purchasing participants: • No highly aggressive sales tactics toward or harassment of event attendees. • If and when non-purchasing participants are given the floor during the meeting portion of the event, time is to be limited to one (1) minute* of speaking time. Although sometimes difficult to resist, monopolizing meeting time has a negative impact on the perception of your organization. • Ethical and Professional behavior must be maintained at all times by members of participating organizations. • Procedures and Rules for different segments of this event must be adhered to by all participants. This requirement applies especially to the method of prize giveaways furnished by participating organizations. Complete guidelines will be provided upon initial registration.
